Meeting future celebrities

A pleasant Friday. This evening Jackie and I went to Aye Write to see two newly published writers; Wayne Price and Elizabeth Reader. They each read excerpts from their books and answered questions. It was a very good hour and it was interesting to see people right at the start of their writing careers in contrast to the already very successful William Boyd. We got our books signed by the authors at the end and they were both very charming, perhaps they will be famous writers soon. Then we had a lovely meal of Tapas in Black Sparrow and a good chat.
Earlier in the day I met someone else who may soon be famous; Danny Shah, who played a gig at my school today (we are so cool where I work!). Despite not yet being signed by a label, he has become an internet sensation after making a video for his new song "We are Connected", that features clips of Rihanna, Justin Bieber and Katy Perry. I hope that he has lots of success in the future.
